Share & community

Worth showing off.

Turn any dive into a crafted card, and follow the divers you actually know in one calm feed. None of the machinery that makes social media miserable: no reels, no DMs, no follower counts.

An account is only ever needed for the feed and sync, never to log or plan.

The community feed: dives shared by divers you follow, with reactions and comments

Share cards

A card worth posting anywhere.

Every dive becomes a crafted card: over your own photo, a deep navy, or a clean profile trace. What you see in the feed is exactly what you can export to your camera roll and post wherever you like.

  • Three backgrounds: your photo, deep navy, clean profile
  • Export to your photos and post anywhere Plus
  • The exact site is fuzzed and photo location stripped, automatically
An exported share card for Blue Hole, Gozo: the depth profile, max depth, duration and water temperature, signed with the ScubaOS wordmark

Follow, tag & mention

Everything that names someone is built on consent.

Follow divers and see their dives in one feed, or filter it to a single group. Tag the buddies you dived with and @mention divers in captions and comments, with the named person always in control.

  • Tags are requests; they only appear once approved
  • A “Tagged” tab on your profile; untag yourself any time
  • @mention notifications you can turn down or off
Notifications: follows, reactions, comments and follow requests awaiting review

Discovery

By place and by people. Never by algorithm.

There’s no engagement feed deciding what you see. You find dives through the sites you care about and the divers and groups you choose.

Dive-site pages
Every site gathers the community’s public dives there: conditions and profiles from divers who’ve actually done it. Your private log never feeds it.
Groups
A club, a trip, a buddy team: share a dive to a group and only its members see it. Join freely; run one of your own on Plus, five on Pro.
Saved
Bookmark the dives that plan your next trip, kept on a private Saved tab only you can see.
Kudos & comments
Encouragement, not a scoreboard. No public follower counts, no leaderboards, no streaks.

Safe by design

Built for safety, not engagement.

We deliberately left out the features that make social platforms unsafe: no short-form video, no live streaming, no direct messages. What remains is moderated, reportable, and locked down hardest for the youngest accounts.

  • Choose who can tag and @mention you: everyone, people you follow, or no one
  • Mute, restrict, block and report, quietly and without a confrontation
  • Under-18 accounts default to maximum privacy: no public posts, no exact location, follow-approval only

Share your dives, safely.

Free to start: follow, react and post from day one. Logging and planning never need an account at all.
